Coloniality monopolizes storytelling. We answer by creating media that is ontologically distinct: podcasts, zines, and streams as vessels for embodied knowledge. We center the interstitial — porch conversations, kitchen wisdom, jokes that land in the cadence of a shared tongue. Media here is a communal practice of meaning-making. The audience creates alongside the storytellers. This is a living archive and prophetic voice for liberation.

Pillar 2 — Networks for Mutuality and Sovereignty

Our stories travel on our own pathways. We build community-owned mesh, encrypted mutual-aid chat, and federated platforms. These networks prioritize resilience over revenue and connection over control. They are the logistical backbone of the new world — a nervous system for coordinating care, sharing resources without surveillance, and keeping communication ours.

Pillar 3 — Sonic Infrastructure of Liberation

Sound carries memory, resistance, and spirit. Against sirens and industrial noise, we cultivate liberatory frequencies: protest songs drawing on ancestral rhythms, ambient soundscapes for healing, independent labels that put artists and community before algorithms. Sonic infrastructure gathers us, comforts us, and reminds our bodies they are sites of sacred, ungovernable energy.

Prefiguration is not naïve. It is rigorous. It demands we treat each day as a chance to distribute power more evenly, to make knowledge more reciprocal, and to tune the environment toward health. Sonic Soviet is not a brand or a club. It is a public invitation to live otherwise, together, now.

Media, networks, and sound form a trinity because none suffices alone. Story without infrastructure dissipates. Infrastructure without story becomes brittle. Sound without either is ephemeral. Together, they compose a durable freedom practice—grounded enough to survive pressure, generous enough to grow.
